I'm part way through an OU degree and in about November '09 I decided to take a break because I needed to spend more time with the children. Like seasons, I'm sure I will come return to it, but for now I am spending quality time with my family. My children will benefit far more from that than any career progression my degree may bring.
In February I took part in a challenge to the top of a hill in the Peak District. The clock stopped when the last person crossed the line. Regardless of how fast I could run, it was not my place to be first.
