On Sunday 15 June 2008, our Boys’ Brigade Company paraded their standard at St. Mary’s, Cloughton to celebrate their patron’s birthday. Revd Liz Kitchen received the Standard from Standard Bearer Cpl. Mark Normington and his escort Pts Alasdair Hughs and James Cox and was assisted by Anchor and Junior lads in illustrating to the congregation the construction of the Covenant Box.

Comments by members of St. Mary’s congregation were most complimentary. Acting Captain John Walshaw was so proud of our Company – As a church we all are!
